Check out Art Vandelay's video* of a chocolate lab (a close relative to Kodiak's official dog, the black lab) trying to bring to shore a freakin' whale out at Pasagshak Beach! They don't call them retrievers for nothing. Sweet Jebus, it's a cool thing to see.

This is MY video. I took it on Mother's Day this year with 5 witnesses. The owner of the dog was not there! The dog did bite the tail, but if you believe that we could hear it over the sound of the waves, you're just plain stupid.
