No, it's not just another gratuitous mention of her, um, globes....
She actually won a big shiny pair of actual Golden Globes at the awards ceremony last night. One for Best Actress in a drama for “Revolutionary Road,” and also best supporting actress for “The Reader.”
I mention this because it is the very thick of awards season, with the Oscar nominations coming out today.

Well done Winslet! She finally won and she deserved them! Her speech was a bit shaky, but aren't they all?! She looked picture perfect ?
